Introduce the first electrical bike running on the US road (not highway.) The particular niche of the bike is that it is too low on the road, and it cant be ridden on the sidewalk, because it is not really a... bike. -_-

The second happiest time is that I was dead. After 15 shots of vodka and whatever mixture, I was dead, totally. (Staying home to study makes me weak, hix...)

When to say "Because"

Here is the situation:

The boss asked: "Can you complete the project by next month?"
The employee respond: "Well, you know, my wife is sick, I have other stuff to do, and this project is overwhelming to me, and I can't do it by my self. Because of those, I don't think I can do it."
Or he may answer: "Cheeze, this is so easy. I can do it. This part can be done like this, like this or like that. You know, everything is kinda basic to me."

Regardless his capability to finish the work or not, his boss will not like him at all. When questions and requests come to one, they don't seek to understand his inside, his thinking, his way of doing it or what is going on with him. In the other words, all of the "because of this, because of that" will become trash throwing into their ears; and obviously, people don't want dirty objects to absorb into their bodies. Thus, your argument and speech will sound very weak when talking trash that nobody listen to; it seems like your are trying to hide something or to defend yourself. Imagine you are in the situation of explaining the police about your arrests, speaking "blah, blah, blah," that is how you look like. So, when you should pop up your reasons?

Two cases. First, when people ask. And second, talk it to yourself.

The Communication 100 class teaches that the basic of communication is to respond to others' requests or interests. If one is not in the mood of listening to politics, no matter how well you know about the "Change" campaign of Obama and how well you can preach to one person, you will not be heard. The same result comes to our situation of "because."

It is a fact that people have interests in themselves rather than others. And if lucky, they may be curious in someone who provide benefits and entertainment to them. So don't waste your word by telling people about your rubbish reasons. Speak up when someone is interested in. Therefore, say "because" when others ask "why."

The second case takes place in the conversation of yourself. There is no need to be understood by others; but, at the very bottom line, you must understand yourself. Usually, we respond to problems according to our own reasons. And understanding yourself is a resolution to prepare and resist repeating mistakes.

So, don't make yourselves look weak. We'd better believe in what we say is right; and if it is right, there is no need to explain, unless people seek for it.

Right or Wrong?

You know, this is just a thought of the day.

So here is the question, should we do certain things to satisfy people which, but, against our own belief?

To me then, there is no right or wrong in this world, because each person has his own foundation of it. So, if you want to be good and to be loved, then forget about the right or wrong of yourself, but go and cater what people need according to their own beliefs (except if you are a governor, then you have to urge people to follow your doctrine.)

So here are few examples, imagine there are some guys need weeds, then, just give it to them if you have. 'Cause, to them, it is right to do so, and one day, they will learn that doing this stuff gonna harm themselves, then they will stop. You don't have to urge them not to do so and you also don't have the power to do that. Another example is someone asking you to make a speech for their own religious group which against your own beliefs, then just do it for them, thou. It's not a big deal, and somehow it doesn't harm any cost (if it does cost something valuable such as causing a revolt, then don't help); you know, that is what the religious leader and his followers want to hear.

Again, to me, speaking of your philosophy and urging people to do like so is selfish. We, have to come to understand what people need and give them what they want as long as it doesn't have big bad impact on the society. And again, it is not cheating or lying, but it is going to get to know people's perspectives and help them to achieve what they want.

So, pretty much, there is no what we know the so-called "right-wrong".

Why making American friends???

I've been in this country for almost 3 years and have been many discussion of making American friends and how to fit the society organized by the school International students department, especially highschool. Why thou?

Making friends and getting fit into the society is good. But is that what you really want or just a rivalry of having more native friends? To me, its not making friend, but it is achieving friends. Somehow, you might stop and think why do I have to do this. Why do I have to value the American people and why do I have to run into the crowd? I'm myself and I have my own plan and belief. I don't need to have many American friends because the crowd expect me to do so. If you really want to be so and really want to seek for understanding the pop culture, then it is okay.

The importance is, what do you want.

Just don't run into the crowd, man. Winners usually do want they want to do, and people run following them because of your power of standing and taking care of yourselves. So, relax, seek for a true friend but not a "friend" that is defined by the environment around you. That's what I think, thou. Let's discuss your idea!!!

Global Warming has been hitting the media as a political and moral issue rather than a environmental and scientific one. Al Gore now is supporting the new president Barrack Obama to move forward to green energy. However, the progress has been meet tons of challenges.

This conversation of Thomas Friedman, the author of the book The World Is Flat 3.0: A Brief History of the Twenty-first Century and the winner of Pulitzer award, gives us a profound view and solution to lead the way out of this disputed dilemma.

Yet, growing industrial nations such as China, India and Brazil are the potential threats of this planet. However, it is not fair to abate their economic boom. "Wait a minute! You (the US) got to grow dirty and now you are telling us (developing nations) to grow clean?" Thomas reported. "They not gonna buy in any restriction applying on their growth base on their limiting CO2 emissions." This has becoming a disputed argument between the growing East and the high-tech West. We can't just go and tell these nations to stop what they are doing, because it is not fair, and therefore it is not practical. As, Thomas says, the only solution is that we have to move forward to green technology supplying clean energy at the price of Chindia (China and India) so that consumers can afford as a daily expense, not as a environmental donation.

It is the responsibility of the Government to lead and to discover this new vector of the economy. Pointing at the East continuosly, America has forgoten a fact that she is releasing the most CO2 emission level in this earth. We have to raise a higher standard for the CO2 emission and mileage automobile usage. In order to do that, they have to set a carbon tax at the price that push manufactures and consumers to alter their plans forward green power. And if we are lucky, if we are brilliant and high motivated, a surplus of this environmental friendly power can be exported and can be very profitable. It is in the hand of the Government and the Obama administration to lead the way and lead the world forward to this. And it has to be the effort of scientists and the president to discover the green technique at a affordable price but not to urge developing world to stop seeking for their profitable projects. It is a fair game of a Thomas' "flat world theory", and we can't kick players out by using power, war and argument.

This is a huge point of our history where everything must go clean and every machine has to be digital using solar power or water-generated energy. We are on the race, another Olypic Games, another rivalry, and possibly another Cold War.

It is just recent that I have discovered a great tool of Google, the Trend, which analyses popular keywords according to countries and cities where search these the most.

So, try this. Jump to google and look for the Trend tool. Then type in the word "sex". Here is what you got:

OMG! Look who is on the top of the list. It's Vietnam. I should urge the Communist party to wipe all the computers and destroy the Internet system. It is destroying our culture.

Mysteriously, Vietnam just disappears and drops out from the top ten of any list resulting from those search. Instead of that, European nations jump into the list and stay firm in there. What's wrong?

Well, it is just a matter of language. The fact is still there, Vietnam is still a conservative country where sex is a taboo topic. Thus, we speak Vietnamese, and we don't deal with English. So try one day coming to a Vietnamese guy and ask what thing and which words he knows about sex. And I'm sure with you that "sex" is his only answer. So basically, what is happening is that the crowded population of Vietnam with a limited knowledge of English sex-term gives birth to the concentration in the search of this word on the Internet.

Going through words that I later searched, those top ranked countries do all have the two same characteristics. They all speak English and they all worship sex. Therefore, their interest can be spread into many terms, and India has done a good job to keep their first rank in every game of this taboo word. It is like a Olypic Games; and with its culture, India is undefeatble. They do have "gym" to train their athlete there. And it is called the great Khajuraho. Its super-crowded population gives it a better chance too.

The Google Trend also wipes out all the East Asia countries where they use Chinese, Japanese and Korean to search their own interests. Who thinks the Japanese is shy about this. I don't. So, pretty much, this tool is inaccurate and not trust worthy to evaluate a nation. Ok guys, forget it. Now your homework is to seach for this hot chick: "Paris Hilton" and see who is on the top. The first thing catches my attention is that this black president is growing more and more white hair, which is good, now he has more white factor in him so that it can help him to resist more racism from the white supremacist community. Vietnamese version

Yesterday, I post a poem about being yourself leaving the dream to control things around. And I still want to carry on this interesting topic as a part of my life.

There is a fact that, most of us did pass or have passed the steps of growing up, and we all discover that this life is so complicated and sometimes we want to give up and let things out of control. Yet, ironically, these are usually the happiest moment of our living time.

That is because: we are blind. We are in the darkness of the obsession of being perfect, the dream to control and manage everything the way we want these to be and the weakness of running away from our own depressions. These can be seen in relationships of families, couples, friends and also coach-teams ties.

It is the life that we can't control. You can't make your friend motivate his study unless you have to do something that encourage him want to do so. It is important that he want. Criminal stories can describe these statements the best. Polices can't stop them, jails can't frighten them, and yet, moral teaching can't change them; that is because they enjoy the paths they choose. They accept to go the the prisons and they accept to die at anytime. They don't feel fearful of gun fighting on the street, so why they have to be afraid of spending few years in the little cells or getting execution. They authority can change them.

Parents-children relationships are very similar. They usually shout and urge they children to follow the paths they have design for these innocent victims. And parents usually don't accept failures. Those are the children mind that they can't control. We know that they are going on a wrong way, but they don't. And the more we talk, the more they feel us as their enemies; and the consequence is that they will never tell us of any of their problems. We push them in the corner. Those children have to experience failure so that they know they are wrong, and only that time, we can jump in a teach. It requires a lot of time and patience to face children.

Couples have a very same problems. They difference in expectations between the twos usually lead to the failure in maintaining the relationship. We can't make our people be the image that we want and we create. If you want your dream person, go and get them; and they are usually poisons rather than true love; they are pro. Don't ever get guys or girls and try to train them to be the way we want. Each person has their own belief, their own goals and their own philosophies. Don't change. Just accepting or not are our only choices.

That is why they say "let the chip fall what they may," and sing "let it be." Only accepting our destinies and let life go naturally is the only way to lead to happiness. At least we try our best. Just don't expect to much, though.

Tiny, long-lost primate rediscovered in Indonesia

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – On a misty mountaintop on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, scientists for the first time in more than eight decades have observed a living pygmy tarsier, one of the planet's smallest and rarest primates.

Over a two-month period, the scientists used nets to trap three furry, mouse-sized pygmy tarsiers -- two males and one female -- on Mt. Rore Katimbo in Lore Lindu National Park in central Sulawesi, the researchers said on Tuesday.

They spotted a fourth one that got away.

The tarsiers, which some scientists believed were extinct, may not have been overly thrilled to be found. One of them chomped Sharon Gursky-Doyen, a Texas A&M University professor of anthropology who took part in the expedition.

"I'm the only person in the world to ever be bitten by a pygmy tarsier," Gursky-Doyen said in a telephone interview.

"My assistant was trying to hold him still while I was attaching a radio collar around its neck. It's very hard to hold them because they can turn their heads around 180 degrees. As I'm trying to close the radio collar, he turned his head and nipped my finger. And I yanked it and I was bleeding."

The collars were being attached so the tarsiers' movements could be tracked.

Tarsiers are unusual primates -- the mammalian group that includes lemurs, monkeys, apes and people. The handful of tarsier species live on various Asian islands.

As their name indicates, pygmy tarsiers are small -- weighing about 2 ounces (50 grammes). They have large eyes and large ears, and they have been described as looking a bit like one of the creatures in the 1984 Hollywood movie "Gremlins."

They are nocturnal insectivores and are unusual among primates in that they have claws rather than finger nails.

They had not been seen alive by scientists since 1921. In 2000, Indonesian scientists who were trapping rats in the Sulawesi highlands accidentally trapped and killed a pygmy tarsier.

"Until that time, everyone really didn't believe that they existed because people had been going out looking for them for decades and nobody had seen them or heard them," Gursky-Doyen said.

Her group observed the first live pygmy tarsier in August at an elevation of about 6,900 feet.

"Everything was covered in moss and the clouds are right at the top of that mountain. It's always very, very foggy, very, very dense. It's cold up there. When you're one degree from the equator, you expect to be hot. You don't expect to be shivering most of the time. That's what we were doing," she said.

These days, I have been messing my stuff, my schedule and my rules up. However, I feel happy about it. Yet, it is not about being bad, but about being myself who I enjoyed long time ago, and it is about being free of meaningless rules and common sense of wanting. Here is the poem write for myself, and I lovely want to share to all of you with my greatest happiness. Here it is:

Basically, it is about a group of college buddies usually "wassup" each other. That is the time Gorge W.Bush was elected. 8 years later, 2008, a soldier from the military one day in Iraq makes a call to their old buddies at homes. Somes get injury from the war, some grieve about the economic depression, and some are suffering natural disasters caused by global warming. It is totally a tragedy from the mess of the unpopular former president. "Change" is what we need, and it is what Obama is delivering.

After few sad and unexpected things happen, I come back to myself singing an old song of mine. A man shouldn't fall for anything; even it is love or any destructive emotions and chemicals.

Actually, I would write for my own, but it is quite important to spread, so I put it here, in this blog. Back to the topic, a man must focus on his career and his intelligence. More than that, he should enjoy it. He doesn't let anything break his hurt or blind his conscious mind such as sex, money or drug. Thus, he must have the strength to fight for what he thinks is right and what he can deliver to the world.

Some skepticisms would denounce it as cold blood ambitious man. However, to understand him, we have to look beyond that. This guy doesn't fall for trashes while he can serve and help the mass. He is undefeated because he has such a greatly stable mental which help him to stay strong with the lure of environment full of destruction and indulgence. He even doesn't let his arrogance brings him down.

It is all about a humble man who cares for others and devotes his own times to enrich his knowledge and wisdom. And it is the image that I today begin again to move forward to: a fine man.

I've just recently what An Inconvenient Truth starring by Mr. Gore. This is a fabulous documentary film about a forgotten serious issue, Global Warming.

Al Gore uses an informative presentation to show us that our world is in a dangerous situation where human activities has caused so much damage on nature just to indulge our weakness. Most of the glaciers from every where around the world have been melting away, some have been transformed to water, while some even have dried away to the dust.

"And what do we suffer now?" This question is still being passed around by skepticists regardless bunches of answers throwing at them. Hurricane Katrina is one of the obvious proof. More and more unusual floods and tornados have been spreading around through Asia to Middle East reaching Europe. If you watch the film, Al Gore explains it very clearly why these unusual disasters happen. Temperature changes also alter the lives of insects and micro-organisms which cause more and more new disease with the come back of older ones. These such as SARS have killed hundred of thousands of people.

The future scene has much more to concern. As the ice on Greenland is melting halfway, the sea level will rise up to 20 feet if the whole ice of this area disappeared, which is very possible. All these means that major cities in the world such as New York or Beijing have to see their buildings submerged by sea water. More than that, streams of refugees will cause much more economic and health mess around the areas. This is a very huge impact that we have to face in a very close future.

Jared Diamond, who is a professors researching on social destruction due to human activities, wrote in his book "Collapse" that we humans together created many socities with many way of cultures, then political parties were formed with various structures to keep order of these societies; and with a strong foundation of stable government, economies boomed. Disasters came after this turning point. Humans has been exploiting natural resources in order to increase productions to keep up with consumers demands and corporation profits. Finally, nature revenge with a high price, which can cost an economy, a political party or even destroy a cultural society such the Somalia or the Maya did with woods over-usage.

These are not written to scare us, but to warn us that we are in the verge of collapse. While history teaches us about the collapse of certain groups of societies, this global warming may bring in the destruction of the whole world. This is our only home in this universe. If it is blown away, we will have nowhere to go.

I've been spending for many years wondering about human mind. There is no motivation in that, it is just my nature, something that drives my life in a certain interesting direction.

Today, I have consumed all the previous thoughts in the past to come up with a fact. A fine good one. The two core factors that make people suceed in this hierarchial society are one's logic and passion. We need a logical thinking process in order to figure out a problem or to invent a new truth while a strong passion motivates us to stand up and fight for it.

Ironically, many parents have been taking kids to good schools hoping for their kids' bright future. Schools are just a part of sucess, a big part actually. However, we should know what is in students' mind when they are attending schools. There is a fact that, schools don't teach us these two core elements of sucess. What schools teach us are knowledge, as I dub it "language".

So why can knowledge be language, then? Obviously, liturature is a language where we use words to transmit our logical messages. Math and computer programing are also languages as numbers are characters used to communicate. Such more complex things are also languages in which are proven already such as "relativity theory" of Einstein or the word "New Deal" implying the whole national reforming program of Franklin Roosevelt. More interesting, martial art is also a language where fighter use the movements of the body to communicate with the oppononet to express his emotion and logic, and the winner has more prudent attack and defense strategies.

So what we use language for? To communicate is the answer. You learn languages to transmit your logical process and order with a result that people need and expect. History proved it. Edison used the language of science to invent the lamp with his amazing logic and an unlimited passion which motivated him to try hundreds of kinds of metal wires.

We go to school to study language, while logic and passion can be trained by yourselves.

Sometimes we have to use logic to learn a language, and once it is absorbed into your brain, that result becomes a term of a languge in which you are dovoting in, because we don't have to use logic to figure that result out again.

In this way, the knowledge of language represents the level of one person in which can be seen in his title such as doctor, lawyer, professor or actor. He masters his language. However, we sometimes see sucessfull lawyers or politicians on the TV while there are still somebody find a hard time to seek for job with PhDs on their hands, that is because there is a huge gap between their logic and passion.

This ain't no fucking movie where fucking jackass people fight each other and plan some sicko project. This is a psychological, philosophical and political one.

Everything starts out from a insurance employee who has an insomnia problem. He can't sleep and he can't wake up. On an airplane, he found a friend who is very special and capable of everything. They together create project Mayhem to bomb all the credit card company. The consequence is, everyone will go down to zero and there will be chaotic. With an army beginning as a fight club were everyone is undefeatable, guess who will gain power. Finally, that sicko guy found out that he and his friend are one.

The sicko name Cornelius, and the imagined one name Tyler Durden. Basically, this is what happen everyday in our life. Psychologically, we talk to ourselves everyday. Sometimes, we see ourselves perfect, smart and capable; that is our dream and when you meet the reality, that dream shatters. Because, we are not free.
"We work for the job that we don't want just to buy stuff we don't need.",
"Things you own end up owning you.",
"What we see on TV teaches us that someday we will become celebrity, rock star; but we won't".

Politically, this story revealed how a party is formed to reach government level. Everything begins with philosophy and "-ism". Then, club and conference is created under that ideology. Like franchise, when that club in certain city is strong, another one will be created in another city; the strongest became the capital, and obviously, it should be secret. In the movies, the most interesting part is Cornelius come to his boss office with threat, then the security is called; the sicko beat himself up until the security come, he whines that the boss makes him injury; finally, he got financial support from the boss. Politic works in the same way, you need finance for your party in order to operate. Finally, an army is built and a network of spies is created. At that point, the party has gained much of its power.

Back to the story of life. Really, we have limit of choice in life, that is because you don't control yourself but sell your soul to the trend of life. When group of your friends wear DG clothes, drive super-power sport cars and live in high standard condos. What would you do? You kills much of your health, your love and your freedom to earn money just to be like them. Another choice is you don't care about them and pursuit what you like. Some says that is loser, but hold on, the one who is controlled by material is much more silly than the loser. How many girls refuse to go out without make-up, how many boys don't want to hang out without the right clothes. "You are not the car you drive. You are not how much money in the bank. You are not the condo you live.", said Tyler Durden.

Once you step in a capitalist nation, the first thing you would think of and feel eager of is the privilege of expressing yourself, which is known as, freedom.

Such as in the US, we have freedom of speech, freedom of love or even freedom of culture. The good point is that, you have not constrict in choosing your practice in your own interests unless you don't break the law, which is more open and logically. However, at these countries, especially the US, it appears the highest rate of divorce, crime and obesity.

The explanation is that this sacred right encourage you to indulge yourself with easy choices, which lead to unhappiness. In another words, from the definition of "without control of the government", we raise it the level of "without control of yourself".

Let's say of an example in love relationship. In these modern days, it is normal that men and women discover each other physically after few times of dating, and many might say it's a fun thing to do and some might think it is love. Predictably, it won't last long. That is because, we have no control in our emotion, and people live in a freedom concept have no skill in it. Usually, what we are doing is to build a love relationship base on a single moment of indulgence; we tend to demand for sex instead of understand each other, and finally, without comprehends of each other, there would be no trust, which would ruin the whole relationship. Fearfully, we play that same game in family life. With no control of yourself, you are weak to think and you want to quit rather than to solve a problem.

Obesity and crime have much developed in the same process. When you loose temper, you kill somebody with a gun in your hand, and when you feel hungry you wouldn't care about your health.

Freedom in a country is good but not in a person. It is said in ancient Chinese culture that "the most powerful thing is the control of your emotion." And in practice, we will gradually understand that fact.

It was the imperialism that motivate industialized empire such as UK, Germany, French or the US to conquer the India, China, Indochina, Africa and Latin America also. The purpose of these wars is to seek for source of natural material which is the base for industy production and also the cheap labor. For example, French controlled the whole Indochina and take a great advantage on the rubber source in Vietnam. US benefit this rubber source and tin also in Phillipines; while the Dutch earn a tremendous profit on crops planting in Java of Indonesia, include coffee.

Base on what Lenin said, imperialism is caused due to the rise of capitalism which eliminates the monopoly system to provide a free trade economic. Therefore, these monopoly companies need to invest their surplus of wealth which can't be invested at home. As the result, the market that earn the benefits and investment are the colonial countries, not their own imperialism nations. More than that, while these company earns great profit from their colonial bases, it should be remembered that high cost of military have to be paid also.

That explain much of the importance of ethics in any survival. In this competive world with high level of consumers' demand, business earn money by their ethics.

An ethic of a firm is the trying to serve the needs of consumer and keep the rights for worker also obey the law. It is never possible to make everone satisfied, especially entrepreurs or international firms; however, the trying to make a decision that fits most of the cultural customs of people involving is needed. And yet, againsting the law, even it doesn't make sense, is never ethical; we call it rebellion or crime.

Sadly and happily, different firms have different ethical system, this makes the definition of ethic more complex but flexible and various, which abilities give worker the right to choose which firm to fit his ethical understanding. I have my own, too. To me, it is never wrong to have such a relaxing time during work; however, the kind of relax to indulge your laziness and bothering other co-workers is unethical. A company should have a entertainment room with the limit of accessing time of employees. Here, they can chat, can call families or watching TV; Google has done the same thing. Another important thing is what you write in the contract with consumer. We see a lot of misrepresenting credentials of many contracts in order to help the firm hides away the responsibility when something happens. They know that the one who signs a contract never read it clearly.

As a future business lawyer, my ethical theory is to help client to win the situation if he is naturally right. There is nothing to be sure that I would charge clients cheap, however, I would not try to make more money after the deal is accepted. I do this, because I love my career, and love is the root of ethics.

Nowadays, this subject to study about brain function and behavior is base on the foundation of biology and chemistry; and obviously, there would be no biology and chemistry on earth if we don't have physic as a base understand. Final question, who can solve physics with mathematic?

When we were young or feeling young, we were hungry to learn and to do everything we like; and, we did it well. As we grow older at certain point of life, where we have accumulated enough skills and traits to form our personality, we would ask ourselves who we are and why we are here. The question was from the ancient time of human-being lasts until now. So, what is the answers?

Religions have been the first and the only field of human study answer this question. Actually, I still believe in science that we belong to nature and yet we were born to die and meaningless to the nature. Yet, that is the simplest and the most powerful explaination on Earth. However, we have to survive. To us, human being, surviving is boring; we want meaning in life which doesn't have meaning at all. This time, we are welcomed to the world of humanity, religion and philosophy to answer the question "who we are and why we are here?"

Most humanity areas such as liturature, poets, musics or drawing tells us the basic meaning in this life is to love. Love gives us passion and energy to pursuit. Religions make it more complicated. Hinduism order followers in caste, which is divided by occupation, and tells that you are born in that caste and your duty of life is to devote in your job and don't think of any caste above or below, that is why people in each caste can only marry in that caste. While confucianism teach us that for certain gender with certain class under certain relationship circumstance, we have certain behavior to fit and to keep the order of society. Christianity teach Christians to love God and live well in the plan of God for each person. Buddhism teach us to stop desire so that you can lead to enlightment which is the power of happiness.

For me, I have my own and willing to share with our community. Basically it is just telling that why we have to do certain things in life.

Learn: to enrich yourself, not to show off
Job and business: to practice and understand what you learn, to help paying bills, not about making money; just do the job when you love it
Competition: to reach your goal, to have fun, not to win or lose
Love, friends: to get to know people, not to have sex or take advantage
Be funny: to make people happy, not to be a star
Dress up: to be pretty and to feel confident, not to make distance with people. Dressing is an art.

My definition for a "cool guy"

"This is part of my homework on definition essay, so I put it on. Let's discuss...."

Everybody wants to be cool and yet, most of them end up as a gay man, an awkward guy or a sick fool who spends his all life to ensure his women is on his bed. The point is that people usually think a cool guy is the one who looks good and that is enough. Originally, the term “cool” is an emotional expression for something extremely good or just good. Therefore, a cool guy is basically is man who has outstanding records on things he does such as beauty care, attractive talking, raising kids, making money or family devoting.

First of all, a cool guy must look good. Usually, people don’t look at Bill Gate and shout out that he looks so cool, while some at his age might give it to Bill Clinton or George Clooney. Looking good doesn’t mean you must be younger than forty or be handsome; however, the face should not be too ugly. A bright white smile with a groom hair in a new trend suit will catch the attention and knowing how to dress and when to dress will give you the important deal. Of course, you don’t wear a D&G blue suit with a happy smile to see your neighbor’s funeral. Bottom line is that a cool guy stands outside of the crowd but within the limit of being appropriate.

If he only looks good and nothing else is valuable about him, I would rather call him fool. The guy who is cool must be a real leader in areas he involves. If he was a new member of a ping pong group, people would be impressed of his quick improvement. If he was the old fox in a poker table, players would fear of him to dead. Basically, he must be smart. However, arrogance would pull him down to the point of the fool guy; and again, he is outstanding but still in the limit of doing right manners. Besides, as a leader, he must do for the right than run follow trends. That means having too many girlfriends at a time make him just look cool but not cool; in other words, he should be the one-girl guy who cares for the relationship but not the girlfriends-record; whereas, the point that make him different with a good guy is that his only one girlfriend must be a pretty lady with a beautiful mind. Above all, he must be a doer, not the talker; that means things to him would be serious but he would deal with it easily.

Being cool is somehow same as being perfect, but it is not impossible; and in order to proof that, Brad Pitt and David Beckham would illustrate the definition. They share the same character in being attractive, sexy and good-looking. They are both at the top in their careers; while Brad Pitt blows up all the movie watchers in every film he cast, David Beckham turns most the soccer lovers crazy in every game he plays. Once again, in the similarity, these two don’t spend time to fool around with girls but stay happy with their wives who are also at another top, too. As what was defined, things to a cool guy must be serious, and philanthropy would be so. David Beckham doesn’t make a big hit on newspaper and about his charitable work in Africa to end deaths caused by malaria, while Brad Pitt has caught the attention by adopting foreign kids, and he also shares a much of thoughts in his movie mostly about love for wife and father.

There are plenty of ways to describe a cool guy; but definitely, he would be a good-looking guy who always stays on the top in a calm manner sitting with his pretty wife or girlfriend who is just cool like him.

Steps to be cool:

Stay on top in your career or school
Become a leader
Make yourself looks good and smell good
Looking for a pretty lady with a beautiful mind who is in another top

Legends of the Fall - Tears for My Family

Alfred - "Why I have been tried to follow rules, God's rules; people still love you better, brother?"

Tuan - "Don't learn rules, follow the call of heart to your family, your passion."

If I once cried in the "Classic", a Korean movie about love during the war; now I fill the most of my 18 years old life in the tears about my family. "Legends of the Fall" teach me the lessons.

At the early of 20th century, in a farming village where people care for each other with love, William Ludlow was raising his three children. The oldest named Tristan; the younger is Alfred; and the youngest, whom was cared as the treasure, was called Samuel. Soon, they grow up into men and the smartest Samuel left town to look for wealth. One day he came back with not only knowledge, but also his fiance, Susannah. Since Mrs.Ludlow leave village due to the cruelty of weather and animals, this had been the first time the Ludlows had a woman in house.

Not staying for long, the sons followed the call of government to join the war in the madness of their father. Alfred came back earlier due to injuries. Tristan came home after with the heart of Samuel; this youngest had died in the sight of Tristan. That scene took my tears; I would have not been alive now, if my brother hadn't seen me drowning in the beach. I miss how we projected each other from neighbored gangs. He took me everyday from home to school and from school to home. Haha, and sometimes, we fought; and I hope we will fight again sometimes; rather than be separate. This is to my sister, too. All I have with her is argument and mouth fighting, but one thing I know is she loves me and she want to take care of me.

In this return, both Alfred and Tristan fell in love with Susannah. Tristan won with his passion. In jealousy, Alfred blame Tristan for the death of Samuel and soon, he left village to relieve the pain. Again, Mr.Ludlow became lonely when for some reasons, Tristan left town for his own path. I couldn't keep my emotion in the scene that the big brother gallop out of village. This is tears for my mom and dad who have been raising us into men and see us leaving in their own paths. Yet, it is lucky for today when technology makes every family has a phone. But, it doesn't replace our images at home; not at all. For years, I haven't understood this love at all. I have tried to reach the goal that my dad wanted me to be, I have tried to be a good kid and I have succeeded. However, what I haven't understood under the protection of family is how much mom and dad love me.

Go back to the story, Alfred got rich in the new city and yet, he became a Congressman. This made him further than his father who against the government for its racism, selfishness and coldness; Tristan became a hunter; and Mr.Ludlow still stayed at home with Susannah sending mails with Mrs.Ludlow.

Time went by, people became older. Tristan was the first to come back in the news that Susannah, the one had been waiting for him, had married his younger brother. Mr.Ludlow had had a heart stroke, and he couldn't talk at all. I looked at it, and I was afraid; afraid for my father. I would stay here for 7 years and who knows what would happen during that long times. Mom and dad will get old. Dad is having high blood sugar; Mom's bone is weak. I hope my brother would come home soon to take care of them.

Parents would raise kid into men and see they feeding their own families. Tristan got married with a neighbor girl in the village. They had two children. One day, the two brother met each other in a vacation to the city. Susannah told to Tristan's kid that she had known his uncle Samuel, who had died in the war. And now, it remind me the tears of my uncle Ut. My dad and uncles and aunts are getting successful now, and in my innocent view, that's all I know about them. They have been crying about their childhood when they have to work every single hour to keep food on the table. I haven't known that, like Samuel, one of my uncle, even my dad, could have died at anytime due to starvation and the selfishness of the government. Yet, I now feel proud and appreciate them for getting over the depression of finance and mind.

The story ends in the come back of Alfred to save family from the government, which he had been serving for years. And yet, I learn that, how much you earn and how much you have done, as long as you forget your family and your country, those become nothing.

Making love is a romantic way to mention it. Many teens has been keeping it until marriage, while they think virginity would make their families happier. However, things turn out not like what they have expected. The reasons are because they know nothing about it. Teens have thought it as a significant step of their lives; therefore, they have avoided it. They include me.
School doesn't teach about it; parents avoid to talk about it to children; the consequence is teens have learned it by their own, and that is how it is dangerous. Under the control of parents, they desire for it, while mom and dad think controlling is good. The more they desire, the more they want to make love; and the more they make love, the more they get addicted to it. Above all, they might do it wrong and the results would be bleeding, AIDS or breaking up a relationship.
The importance is not who they keep it for, but what they think about it and how they control it. Making love is a way of reducing stress and making us happy. Knowing how to control it, you will have a better life; that's why on several magazines, we have better sex. And you know, even animals are thirsty of it, too; and that has been the root of us, humans.
Therefore, it is not a big thing at all.

The line buying apartments tells the growth of economics

VIETNAM - this morning, the line of customers was full in hopping to buy apartment units. It was the luxury apartments "The Vista" with 5 building in the are of 23,000 m2 includes 750 units; each unit is estimated around $200,000, which is an over high price for Vietnamese income. However, the media and also the owner was shock to see the customers were so crowded as if you are on the line waiting for hours during Back Friday sale - which is a big sales day during Thanksgiving holiday in the US, the night before the sale, people camp on the outside of a store overnight in order to get the sale first.

This is not the only time happens like this. During the middle of March this year, The Manor Apartment of Bitexco received a similar wave of customers; the Mansion Apartment Project got the same thing, too. Not only in these luxury apartments, but people also look for middle-class one, which is affordable. Of course, this is a glad news for the economic of Vietnam; and obviously, I feel happy about it. So what does it tell about Vietnam's growth?

The Vietnamese income is increasing in a speed of hair-raising. Several years ago, employees with salary of $200/month is considered medium and those who earned $600/month is seemed to be a little bit wealthy family. Yet, earning a 1 million dollar is a impossible dream to almost every citizen of Vietnam, even to "big brothers" of the Saigon. However, currently, things has turned upside down; everyone who has the same income as 5 years ago would be fall back into lower class. That means $200/month is a low deal and $600/month is just enough for you to feed yourself; owning a house with these salaries would put you in debt for whole life.

1 million dollar becomes a small talk to some businesses.

People have more money; therefore, they create more needs, such as need of house, need of car, or even need of sophisticated fanshionable clothes. The cake is becoming bigger in size and diverse in ingredients; seeing the chance, firms from all areas try to get a hand in Saigon investment. If you stand on a 8th floor in Saigon, looking in one direction, what you will notice are dozens of cranes, which are symbols of a building tower. Real estate is turning into apartment and department investment.

Now, the market is giving much chance for investor. Gucci and Louis Vuiton had great revenues in the trial jump to Saigon. Yet, for business people, wearing a D&G suit with a Cartier pen in a Lexus car is becoming a way to proof dignities.

Besides the higher incomes, the Government with minister Nguyen Tan Dung, after the success on WTO, is trying to reduce the price for goods by cutting down the tax on import. Recently, car tax has fallen from 90% to 60%; even though car dealers have not had a great cut in price due to the high price in electricity, oil and water, but the Government is going on a right track to encourage trading. Following these events, Roll-Royce Phantom hits the market by a 1.5 million deal to customers.

Great news is not only in cars, but also in Vietnam Airlines. Just recently, the air company has bought the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which is totally new made by Boeing company; yet, Vietnam Airlines has become one of the seven air companies in the world ordered this plane. Boeing 787 can serve up to 250 passengers and flying within 15,200 km. More than that, the new air port hit the media by adding new direct line from Saigon to Los Angeles, which saves more time fore travelers and also businesses.

Like Phillip Kotler said, China is the dragon and the tiger of the world, Vietnam is turning out in a speed on a panther.

The famous Fight Club - The fearful Klu Klux Klan

As we know, movies and books have a great aspect on describing social issues. In hands of writers, editors and producers, significant events are criticized, analyzed and revealed on many perspectives which causes so much discussion from drinking tables to the White House. The Fight Club, which was a movie to entertain people talking about a club of violence with mental members in it, has some similarities to the Klu Klux Klan, which was the fear for all kind of American such as slaves, black people and even white who against this name.

In 1999, the Fight Club movie hit the top of the post office with the name of Brad Pitt in it; the film was made base on the novel had the same name written in 1996 by Chuck Palahniuk. The story was about a man names Joe, who has a problem caused by chronic insomnia, which makes him cannot feel really awake or asleep. The symptom gets more and more serious that he has to supporting group, where everyone confides their own situations. Joe enjoys it as if it has saved his life. One day, Marla, a hippie weird lady with the the hair burst out messily like snakes, joins the group; then, Joe soon notices that she has no problem at all. Feeling like being insulted, Joe leaves the group; and accidentally, meets an interesting man names Tyler Durden, who sells soap for living. Tyler inspires him to fight, and yet, they organize a Fight Club, which makes Joe's life turn out so much better. The major rule of Fight Club is that nobody can ever talk about Fight Club even to the member, which means, after the fighting time, they come back to be strangers in daily lives. Once again, Marla interferes Joe's happiness. It began when Tyler picked the Joe's phone, which was talking with the lady. Soon, she comes to Tyler for the desire of body; and yet, the arousing shouts, the big bang and existence of her frustrated Joe every night.

The plot doesn't focus much on this significant lady; and soon, when the club is big enough that they have members in all over the US and has enough money by selling soaps to companies, they start their Mayhem project. New rules were added. Members cannot asked about the project and they must be shaved. During the work, Joe really wakes up in his dream. Tyler disappears and what he sees is a consistent system of the Mayhem project, which even Joe cannot question about it and also cannot stop it. The project was to bomb all the credit card companies so that every debt of members in the Project would turn into zero. The Project was well controlled by Tyler that all the steps turn into a smooth system, and without the order of the leader, they could finish it and they must do it with no reason. Oddly, members start to call Joe in the name of Tyler, and yet, Joe finds down that, he has been Tyler for the whole story. Joe and Tyler were one. At the very end of the story, Marla was the motivation of him to leave to group and to start this army, and yet, his love to Marla gives him the power to become a big brother. And the screen ends in the falling credit card towers like a fireworks for his love.

The success of Joe with the Fight Club is that he knows how to gather members together by making them fool. By fighting, members learn from Joe-Tyler that there would be no fear in life, and yet, if you loose everything, you are free to do anything. The point is, Joe-Tyler lures people by a favorite hobby and then, from the very beginning, members don't know they are stepping in his Project Mayhem.

In the reality, Klu Klux Klan had a much greater effect on a country than the Project Mayhem in the Fight Club. However, they share the similarity in organizing, luring and blinding members.

Your suit catches the attention of the target, which is a boss or a pretty lady, you want; however, the way you act keeps the attention forever until the conversation ends. This is what I have been seeking to know for a long time, and finally, what I got it from Brad Pitt in the Ocean's Eleven, where he showed Matt Damon how to fake as an detective. Here is how it goes, just brief:

Sunshine in a cold weather of Seattle, staying tacitly and reading some books, I woke up. That was the "Freakonomics", which is a book describe economics in a freaking way, saved me. It gave me a perception that events around us are just what happened, and each one of us have our own perspective on those. Christianity ask God for the answers, while politic use Government to solve problems, and economic, which is thought just relates to money, joins the world views in the way to describe human motivation by using research or statistic. However, that means to me that I should view the world in a certain perspective, which will create my own opinions about things and even my style of reaction.

The book has a great effect on me even though it doesn't discuss about love at all. Walking home from the bus stop, I remember that my brother used to say, "Love is just a mixture of friendship and sexuality." Accidentally, this combination will made the relationship romantic. What if the bond of love is built on roman and passion. I guess it will break soon or both of the love mates would suffer bunch of stupid action, and more than that, passion is a moment and when passion end, love will follow it. How about the foundation of love is sex. I'm sure you know the answer. Yet, only friendship lasts long and it doesn't close your eyes like passion. Lets friendship leads us to love and it will last long in the meaningful story than ever.

Well, so this is my conclusion for today. Do well in schools or companies. That defines who you are in this society. Make it the main meal for your life. Girls, love and clubbing are just like salt and sugar. And in order to have well taste ketchup for this delicious life, I should say it's better to have a serious relationship and have sex with some prostitutes than searching a girlfriend just for sex.

An ideal college lifetyle and gears of mine

Talking about college, it's not a luxury and glamorous word, but what does it mean is an active lifestyle that may improve many aspects of one's personality. What I dream here is not a useless thing to think about, but it helps life in way of "work hard, play hard", which may refer to the definition of a yuppie; this could be known as my own pre-yuppie.

There is no an exist lifestyle that applies for all environment, on a certain workplace, we have certain lifestyle to fit that surround. Therefore, to reach my ideal lifestyle, I indeedly need an ideal gear. The word "gear" may sounds expensive and unaffordable, but that is not how it works in me. What I need is "how it provides my needs." not "how expensive and popular is it." A guy like me just dream to work in a big downtown, but may live in far away. That's why I may choose the Seattle Central Community College, which locates at the right central of the Rain City. Studying there doesn't mean I have to need a BMW or convertible to show off, what I want is just a little hatchback like the used Toyota Matrix or Honda Fit, which can fit my bike and a little library. And a light cruiser bike of Schwinn could be an awesome choice for an urban life. Actually, I don't really want to park in downtown, price is an issue, thus, driving fast may limit me from enjoying the view of downtown.

It's time to think about what will stick on me for a whole long working day. A T-mobile dash is quite a better choice for me who want to stay connect in every seconds. It is not really luxury, but not to cheap that still provide a QWERTY keyboard with features of a cool smart phone. It is big phone, though. Anyway, it is still slim and sleek. A digital camera is absolutely convenient. I don't use it 24/24, but there is some sudden time that you need to catch a wonderful moment such as sunset or an seen UFO. A suit with a skinny jeans are what I would wear to attract myself and people. "People live good when they look good", in my thought.

Those above are what I mean for environment. It's not to far to dream about, but just doable and affordable for a normal college guy, not too poor. That would support a big deal for my lifestyle. During typical weekday, I would wake up early at around 6am and do several exercise for a new day. Driving from home with a morning radio or music from my suburban apartment to downtown school may take 15 mins. People know what I gonna do during school time, just class. After school time, relaxing may be needed. A dinner at sushi land or Vietnamese restaurant would be so much amazing. Then stop by a Starbucks with a little magazine or newspaper to catch up the world events. Then, around 5 or 6pm, with that still-hot cup of Starbucks, heading to the central library would help much for my homework and school. Actually I can never do well at home, because too much distract. Two hours of working is suitable in the library. Then, 24h fitness will be the next place for me to end the working time. At here, I can release all stress to reach a better life, health and body. Coming back home, which I call the "lazy place", where include all of my temptation and indulge.

Weekends would be a big deal to some people, include me. Homework was done on Friday, that means weekends are fully free. Saturday would be an ideal day for shopping in downtown. Things sale off and people hanging out . Walking around downtown could be counted as exercise, too. Open my mind and also, make me fabulous. Party time at night would be awesome. It's not a time to be naughty, but that time makes me connect to cool people, socialize sometimes. Sunday will come after that. Family time will be on the Sunday morning. That's how my life become meaningful. Then, cleaning clothes and room is needed. Just like your body need to wash everyday, house must be washed every week. Lunch time will be used to cook food for the whole week. And with the Sunday night, watching a movie is absolutely a good choice. Then, Monday coming like a cycle of life.

Life is meaningful only when we plan and have some target for it. A lifestyle is just a magazine word for "how you live to fit your target and plan". So, it is something we need to think about, and know it useful.

Be Genius?

There was a time shopping in downtown Portland, those bunches of clothes just made me feel sick of it, so I decided to step by the Discovery store. Right after first step entering, I was interested in it at the first look. That was a book name "The Einstein Factor".

I bought it home immediately, and after couple times reading it, I was interesting with a trigger question "Is it possible to make another Einstein?" That could be a very tough topic to discuss. People used to talk about it by psychology view, humanity or education view. After long time giving up, science joins the game and proofs it greatly. Not like other perspective, using labs is a strong weapon of science. They start with calculation of mathematician John von Neumann that human brain can store up to 280 quintillion (280,000,000,000,000,000,000 bits of memory), it means that our brain can work faster than the PC 10 billions times. However, how slow a person can do the multiply of 3436x78374 compare with the PC. I could not find the answer in the book, but as my view and some knowledge about AI (artificial intelligence), at a time, a person has to do more things complicated than a PC. Every second, human brains are distracted by information from sound, touch, smell, and working with billions of cells inside and of course, those are much more complicated than the only multiplying calculation itself. So, the PC is doing a quintillion times simpler work than our human brains. So the answer for the problem could be distraction. To support it, scientists make an experiment about 2 people conversation. They found that, only 1/3 of our brain paying attention to what he or she talks, another 2/3 is dealing with looking at his face, hearing noise around or doing something to ourselves. It means, by focus more to what we do may increase our working efficiency tremendously.

However that was just the first step they looking for the answer. Dr. Thomas Harvey made a further step by storing the brain of Einstein for almost 50 years until the technology is strong enough to analyze it. However, he found nothing different in the brain of super genius Einstein with even a stupid person. He failed, and then in 1980s, Marian Diamond, a neuroanatomist from University of California at Berkely, took place the project, and finally, she announced an amazing discovery that changed the way we had understood about genius. She made the experiment on 2 rats, one in a normal cell with nothing to do, and one in a high competitive cell with ladders, treadmill and all kind of toys. Finally, the super-stimulated rat left a result of longer age than the other rat. Diamond took a deep look into the brain of 2 rats to compare. She found out the brain of the super rat has more structure branch-like, which later she called it glial cells, lying between nerve cells. The function of this cell is help to switch and stimulate the electrical information from this nerve cell to another nerve cell.
